We are looking for a highly motivated Brand Director to lead a business vertical in a greenfield environment at a reputable Saudi conglomerate, with the opportunity to build a brand from scratch. The ideal candidate should have a strong FMCG background, expertise in e-commerce, and be responsible for developing a strategic brand plan and setting objectives while having a deep understanding of brand management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to establish a strong presence in the Herb industry, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target customers, their preferences, and market trends in the Herb industry.
- Create a compelling brand identity, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual elements that resonate with the target audience.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote the brand, increase brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to align brand strategies and objectives.
- Establish and manage e-commerce channels, including the development of an online sales platform, optimization of the website, and implementation of effective digital marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, such as sales data, market share, and customer feedback, to track progress and make data-driven decisions to enhance brand strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Recruit, manage, and inspire a high-performing brand team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Substantial experience of working in a developed Western market.
- Proven experience of developing and managing a brand within the FMCG/Cosmetics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of brand development and management principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in creating and launching successful brands from scratch.
- Strong expertise in establishing and managing e-commerce channels, including online sales platforms, website optimization, and digital marketing.
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive brand strategies and set measurable objectives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to utilize market research and data analysis to make informed decisions.
- Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with the Herb industry and its trends is preferred.
