Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive annual and long-term brand plans, including objectives, strategies, and tactics, aligned with overall business goals.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer insights, competitive activities, and opportunities for brand growth.
- Manage the brand's marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across various promotional channels.
- Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and in-person activities, tailored to the Egyptian healthcare professional and patient landscape.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop and implement effective promotional materials and sales tools to support product adoption and achieve sales targets.
- Work cross-functionally with medical affairs, regulatory, supply chain, and other internal teams to ensure successful product launches, lifecycle management, and compliance.
- Monitor brand performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze campaign effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Adapt global brand strategies and materials for the local Egyptian market, ensuring cultural relevance and regulatory compliance.
- Undertake regular monthly travel to the UK (approximately 1 week per month) to collaborate with global brand teams, participate in strategic planning meetings, and ensure alignment on international initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Manage and mentor any direct reports, fostering a high-performing team environment.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in brand management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies and achieving brand growth objectives.
- Strong understanding of the Egyptian pharmaceutical market, including regulatory requirements, healthcare systems, and key stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively 1 across different levels and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the UK on a monthly basis (approximately 1 week per month).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and their application within the pharmaceutical context.
- Experience in launching new pharmaceutical products is highly desirable.
