We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics professional with a background in the Life Science and Pharma industry. As a Business Analytics expert, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets and providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data warehousing, BI concepts, SQL, and a proven track record of creating insightful dashboards. This is a senior-level position, requiring a minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making processes within the Life Science/Pharma industry.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
3. Design and develop data models, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data.
4. Utilize data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
5. Perform in-depth data exploration and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
6. Extract and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
7. Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Business Analytics and apply them to enhance existing processes.
9. Collaborate with IT teams and data engineers to optimize data infrastructure and improve data accessibility.
10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or similar). A master's degree is preferred.
2. Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in Business Analytics, with a focus on the Life Science and Pharma industry.
3. Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL processes.
4. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
5. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
6. Solid understanding of BI concepts and techniques, including report/dashboard development and data storytelling.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
8. Experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
10. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
11. Knowledge of the Life Science and Pharma industry, including an understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations, is highly desirable.
