Job Purpose:
The Business Development Administrative Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the bank's growth initiatives by providing administrative assistance to the Business Development team. This position involves coordinating various business development activities, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless communication within the department and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of business development initiatives, including client meetings, presentations, and events.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and progress reports.
- Prepare and distribute marketing materials, proposals, and other documentation as required.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities and market trends.
- Liaise with internal departments to facilitate the smooth execution of business development strategies.
- Manage calendars, schedules, and travel arrangements for the Business Development team members.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence for senior management.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative strategies for business growth and client engagement.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Proven experience in administrative or support roles, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and industry regulations is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
