Our client is an Asian Blue-chip conglomerate. The IT consulting company has offices across the world and has grown till almost 25K employees in different markets empowering organizations to transform their business according to their challenges.
THE ROLE
As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in one of the top global accounts, by developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy, building, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and leading and managing teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure the company meets its growth targets and remains competitive and innovative in the market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and growth targets in the account.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the account to drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other lead generation activities in the account.
- Work closely with product development and operations teams to ensure new products and services meet customer needs and market demand.
- Lead and manage business development and teams, setting targets, and providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on business development performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the banking industry or technology consulting industry serving banks and financial services clients.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and driving revenue growth, preferably in the banking industry.
- Strong relationships and network of contacts with key decision-makers in the banking industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change in the banking industry.
- Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients in the banking industry.
