SalaryJob DescriptionOverview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Engineer specializing in Power Plants & Renewables to join our client’s dynamic team. This role is pivotal for marketing and business development of construction projects within Romania, focusing on the identification and acquisition of suitable projects, clients, and supply chains. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding their portfolio in both conventional and renewable power plant projects.Location: Bucharest, RomaniaSalary: €45,000 - €70,000 Gross/year + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development initiatives in line with the company’s strategic goals and business plans.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential collaboration opportunities with projects and companies in Romania.
- Gain a deep understanding of the company's core businesses to effectively develop and implement business development plans.
- Prepare and maintain reports and meeting minutes for both internal and external reporting purposes.
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple work streams and business travel as required.
- Maintain well-organized records in both hardcopy and digital formats.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 10-11 years of relevant work experience, with a strong preference for candidates possessing experience in both conventional and renewable power plants. Prior experience with turbine main equipment and familiarity with main power plant equipment are highly desired.
- Previous employment with major contractors or experience with power plant developers and investor companies in tendering or developing projects is valuable.
- Stability in employment, reflecting a commitment to long-term professional growth within the industry.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), and high proficiency in English are essential.
Desirable Backgrounds:
- Candidates with experience in notable firms will have an advantage, offering a comprehensive understanding of power plant development.
