An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join a leading organisation within the Construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and proactive individual with proven Sales experience within a similar field. With ambitious growth plans and continued potential within the Construction market, this is a fantastic opportunity to directly influence both the sales and customer service function of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales, building strong client relationships and repeat business
- Daily prospecting and call activity
- Provide technical assistance and guidance on product portfolio
- Provide support to Business Development Managers
- Maintain and update CRM (Customer Record Management)
- Act as point of contact for clients, maximising spends where possible
- Customer retention and upselling
- Sales analysis within your region
- Deal with order process and provide information to operations
Personal attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a similar role (ideally within construction)
- Contract awareness would be advantageous
- Proven track record in lead generation, prospecting, and upselling
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Good numerical skills and commercial awareness
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Strong IT & literacy skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Ability to work to your own initiative and as part of a team
- Full and valid UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience of working with technical drawings would be advantageous
