We are hiring a proactive Business Development Manager for a fast-growing agribusiness with a state-of-the-art maize milling facility producing premium-quality maize flour, grits, and offal for industrial manufacturers, breweries, food processors, feed producers, and bulk commodity traders. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving market penetration, building strategic client relationships, and generating revenue across key product lines. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-growth operation that combines advanced milling technology, large-scale production capacity, and a focus on establishing long-term supply partnerships across Nigeria.
As the company prepares to enter an exciting growth phase in the coming months, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building robust distribution networks and establishing long-lasting supply partnerships with industrial clients, breweries, food processors, feed producers, and other key players across Nigeria. This role offers the chance to directly shape market growth, drive revenue, and influence the commercial footprint of the business. You will have the chance to directly influence market growth and drive revenue, with opportunities to expand the business beyond Nigeria into other African markets.
Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:

Drive Market Strategy: Identify new market segments, design growth strategies, and lead initiatives to penetrate local and regional markets.

Forge Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with industrial clients and key B2B partners.

Lead Revenue Growth: Manage tender processes, negotiate long-term supply agreements, and structure innovative distribution channels.

Analyze & Innovate: Monitor market trends, understand competitor strategies, and provide actionable insights to shape business decisions.

Shape Expansion Plans: Explore new distribution channels and potential export opportunities where viable.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven B2B business development experience in manufacturing, food processing, agribusiness, or industrial supply.

Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills to build and maintain long-term client partnerships.

Strategic thinker with a track record of designing and executing growth initiatives.

Hands-on experience in driving market expansion and revenue growth.

Educational qualification: Graduate (B.Sc. or equivalent) in a relevant field.

Experience: 5–7 years in commercial or business development roles, preferably in B2B sales, industrial supply, or agribusiness markets.

Comfortable working independently and collaborating with internal teams to implement distribution and growth strategies.

Willingness to explore new markets across Nigeria and potentially other African markets.
