Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The position holder is responsible to identify new business opportunities in order to generate market revenue, improve profitability and help the business growth. The work of a position holder includes careful strategic planning, positioning in the appropriate market, enhancing the operation of the business, position, and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, services, and new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
- Have a good understanding of the business’s products, and services, and be able to advise others abou them.
- Developing business management goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity.
- Monitor and evaluate automotive industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
- Establish cost parameters and manage the overall P&L.
- Maintain a forecast and target sales attainment plan.
- Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate, and submitted on time to the management.
- Participate in competitive analysis and pricing strategy development.
- Attending networking events and hosting stands at exhibitions and conferences.
- Ensures the agreed-upon KPIs are achieved as per the agreed quality, time & cost.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Competencies, and KPI
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in business, management, or related field
- Years and Nature of Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Automotive Business
- Other Experiences & Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communications, organization, and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of the automotive industry preferred.
- Previous experience in the GCC preferred, especially if the experience was in Saudi Arabia
- Fluent in English – Arabic language fluency preferred
- Prior industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of relevant trends
