Job Title: Business Development Manager – EMS
Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India
Experience: 8 to 10 Years
Reporting: Head of Marketing
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager – EMS will be responsible for driving growth in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) business by establishing and nurturing relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 customers, and design partners. The role involves expanding the customer base within electronics domains, converting projects from RFQs to POs, and achieving defined revenue and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve EMS business sales and revenue targets.
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier-1s, and design partners.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Drive the conversion of RFQs to POs through effective proposal management and negotiation.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Introduce new technologies such as controllers, sensor PCBs, and EV-related electronics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) for project execution.
Key Deliverables:
- New Customer Acquisition: Number of OEMs, Tier-1s, and design partners added.
- RFQ to PO Conversion Rate.
- Customer Satisfaction Index (NPS).
- New Technology Introductions: Controllers, sensor PCBs, EV-related products, etc.
Required Skills:
- Strong customer networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercial negotiation expertise.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strategic thinking with a strong results orientation.
Educational Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.
- MBA (preferred).
