For a famous mobile network operator & solution provider with HQ in Asia we are looking for Business Development Manager who will be in charge of prospection and development of business in France, Germany and Western Europe. The position is based in Boulogne-Billancourt, French, English are the working language. Customer, sales driven with good knowledge on the supply of telecommunications carriers.
We are looking for a highly motivated salesperson who will join an enthusiastic team composed of multiple nationalities located in three European cities. The position requires an entrepreneurial approach in a fast growing environment. The perfect candidate will find the right balance between customer need, technical capabilities ,legal and commercial requirements which will make a deal concretize
Key Duties
Prospecting, detecting and identifying business opportunities, developing the customer portfolio and relationships with potential customers within the Carrier (Wholesale) Market
- Establish new customer relationships and explore potential business opportunities (Hunting approach)
- Develop and implement sales strategies to find new customers and opportunities to maximize sales prospects and market penetration
- Study capabilities of company to take charge of a project. Communicate customer’s requirement to the technical team
- Promote the company products and solutions to customers by organizing or participating in activities such as workshops, events and promotional campaigns
BID management, coordinating internal resources to prepare tenders and meet customer requirements
- Develop the commercial proposal by coordinating internal resources: technical, financial, legal ...
- Negotiate with clients, liaise with the internal department to ensure that the solution meets the customer's requirements, establish a sales model and support agreement for new customers
Follow up the contract and ensure all the commitments are well respected
- In collaboration with the presales and delivery teams, organize the project launch meeting
- Present commercial proposal: customer requests, project objectives, etc.
- Work closely with HQ and other subsidiaries to maximize the company's performance, sales targets and business objectives
Generate customer loyalty by maintaining good relationship with customers throughout the contractual period, keep tracking on requirements and detecting new opportunities
- Provide world-class customer after-sales service, including service performance evaluation, process improvement etc., maintain and strengthen customer loyalty
- Compile the Sales Performance Report for management review
- Responsible for account management and daily operational as well as sales operations
Profile and experience needed:
- Hunter profile
- Knowledge about international carriers is necessary
- Understanding and/or experience in the following Carrier services: Data (transmission, IP Transit, MPLS, Ethernet…), Voice (Hubbing, Bilateral deals, Transit…), Mobile (A2P/P2P SMS, Roaming, IPX, IoT…)
- A first sales experience in a telecommunication company is crucial
- Proficient in Sales tool (Salesforce, reporting, etc.)
- Flexibility, adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit
- Willingness to work with multiple cultures, different time zones and different levels and responsibilities within the company , the customer (Commercial, Legal, Technical, Executive…)
- French and English. Other languages are welcome, proficiency in Chinese could be a plus
