A European Freight Forwarding company is seeking a Business Development Manager for their newly opened office in Almaty.
Job Description:
- Collaborate in developing the business strategy for international road freight forwarding, rail freight, air freight, and warehouse services.
- Acquire, negotiate terms with, and service key clients.
- Provide professional advice on transport services to clients.
- Establish processes to support effective development of the client portfolio.
- Achieve assigned budgetary goals.
- Continuously analyze the market situation.
- Coordinate with operational and sales departments.
- Participate in company development projects to contribute to business growth.
Our Expectations:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international Full Truck Load (FTL) sales, rail freight, air freight, and warehouse services.
- Experience working with key clients.
- Proficient in sales techniques and effective negotiation.
- Experience handling tenders.
- Excellent command of English.
- Ability to make quick decisions.
- Willingness to undertake frequent business trips.
