The BDS must be a disciplined dynamic self-starter with good time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure. The BDS must communicate effectively at all levels when managing suspects (leads) and prospects (opportunities). Persistence, persuasiveness, and a proven Domestic and International sales track record are all prerequisites of this job.
Minimum Requirements
5 years of experience in sales, a majority of which should have been focused on sales at an executive level, with experience in:
- Relationship and/or Account Management at an Executive Stakeholder level
- Strong background in delivering successful outcomes in all areas including new business development, prospecting, revenue derivation, financial efficiency, and sales conversion
- Concise and accurate communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Management and leadership skills
- Solid Experience in proposing and delivering solutions across Mobile, Digital, Data and Online technology products and services
Good knowledge and understanding of

Job Description
Deliverable 1 – Sales
- Comply with and adhere to all business processes and administrative requirements set out by the Company Representative from time-to-time
Description of the Deliverable
- Engage in a consultative selling and business solution approach, including the ability to understand client business needs and to provide call centre value proposition specific solution sales, proposals, across the services portfolio offered by the company including social and customer experience
- Secure, develop and maintain client relationships and become a strategic partner by consulting with a high degree of industry expertise and knowledge
- The ability to negotiate with and sell to senior-level executives, management, and key decision-makers
- Prepare and managing presentations, proposals, account plans, contact reports are key to success in this role
- Proactively create and manage a sales pipeline comprising, contact leads, prospects and opportunities ensuring relationships are maintained and new business opportunities are identified, nurtured and converted
- Meet or exceed defined and assigned sales targets with quarterly targets remaining key to success in this role
- Overcome technical and business objections when interacting with Prospects
Deliverable 2 - Administrative
- Comply with and adhere to all business processes and administrative requirements set out by the Company Representative from time-to-time
Description of the Deliverable
- Working with the CEO to determine sales and revenue forecasts for the company
- Working with the Finance department, CEO to develop costing models and deal frameworks for projects to ensure profitable client engagements
- Working with the CEO to effectively forecast, plan, implement and deploy projects for the company’s clients, ensuring at all times that both client expectations and internal resource constraints are pro-actively and adequately managed
- Working with the Heads of all departments to ensure effective visibility of client commitments, adequate communication between project team members and stakeholders and timely feedback to the CEO, Finance Departments to facilitate collections
- Attending all such meetings, forums and workshops as required by the Company Representative on a punctual and consistent basis
- Completing all such reports, presentations and administrative documentation as may be required by the Company Representative or the company’s business processes accurately, on time and comprehensively
- Attending to all such requirements as may be dictated by the company’s financial department to facilitate the registration of new clients, invoicing of revenues, collection of Purchase Orders and the facilitation of collections on a timely and diligent basis
Accountability
- Accountable for the achievement of the company’s revenue targets by ensuring the attainment of laid down standards within defined policies and the business plan. Retain direct accountability for maintaining desired values and achieving business objectives. Maintain functional focus in aligning client opportunities and business area activities to revenue requirements
- It is a prerequisite that the Business Development Specialist factor in linkages to other business areas/functional activities and priorities
