Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Business Head responsible for driving business growth in our Advertising Unit based in Mumbai. As the Business Head, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic initiatives, driving sales and revenue growth, and fostering strong client relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and expansion of our advertising business.
Responsibilities:
Business Growth Strategy:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive business growth strategy for the advertising unit, aligned with the company's overall objectives.
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and increase market penetration.
● Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to drive business growth.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
● Lead the sales in achieving revenue targets by effectively managing the sales process, including lead generation, client acquisition, and deal closure.
● Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and driving upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales and marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
Client Relationship Management:
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic advertising solutions.
● Regularly engage with clients to address their concerns, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
● Act as a point of escalation for client issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve challenges and exceed client expectations.
Team Leadership and Development:
● Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to achieve individual and team targets.
● Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.
● Identify training and development needs, providing resources and opportunities for the team's professional growth.
Collaborative Approach:
● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns and projects.
● Work closely with the creative team to develop innovative and impactful advertising solutions that meet client objectives.
Industry and Market Insight:
● Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the advertising industry.
● Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on business opportunities, competitive threats, and potential partnerships.
Requirements:
❖ 12 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the advertising or marketing industry, with a focus on business growth.
❖ Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth, achieving and exceeding targets.
❖ Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to develop and execute business growth plans.
❖ Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
❖ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
