Job Title: Business Head/ General Manager -USA | Indian consumer food Business brands
Reporting to: Directors
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
- Prepare export documentation such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading.
- Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents, and vendors.
- Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements.
- Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain export databases, records, and reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of proven experience in the export business, preferably in the same industry.
- Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of market data and dynamics.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel abroad to meet with clients and develop business relationships.
