Our Client is seeking an experienced Business Unit Head to lead and manage their Binola plant operations, ensuring seamless production, profitability, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with expertise in plant operations, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and logistics, combined with sharp business acumen to drive profitability, cost optimization, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations & Profitability

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring high efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Drive profitability by optimizing costs, improving productivity, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance plant performance and meet business goals.

2. Manufacturing & Process Excellence

• Ensure smooth machining operations of aluminum cast alloy parts for automotive OEMs.
• Maintain high-quality standards in compliance with automotive industry norms (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, etc.).
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies to boost productivity.

3. Supply Chain & Logistics Management

• Manage supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless material flow and on-time deliveries.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and optimize inventory management to minimize costs and delays.

4. Financial & Cost Management

• Develop and manage plant budgets, including manpower and process-related expenditures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve overall operational efficiency.

5. Stakeholder & OEM Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between the plant and key OEM customers, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align plant operations with business objectives.

Key Requirements

Experience: ~20 years in automotive manufacturing, with a strong background in plant management and business unit leadership.

Industry Expertise: Hands-on experience in machining operations for aluminum cast alloy components.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and profitability metrics.

OEM Supplier Experience: Must have worked with automotive OEMs as a key supplier.

Regional Experience: Prior experience managing plant operations in the NCR region with familiarity in industrial operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other operational excellence certifications.
