• Title / Designation: VP – Government & Public Sector Vertical / BU
• Reporting Manager: EVP – BU
• Location: New Delhi

Role & responsibilities:

• BU Head for the Govt and Public Sector business, focussing on India to start with and with a roadmap for global expansion
• Ownership of BU P&L
• Contribution to Pre-sales and proactive sales pursuits of the vertical
• Ownership / leadership of delivery (and post go-live operations, support & maintenance), including ownership of capacity planning and matrices of skills and competencies, for creation of a cost-effective fulfilment engine
• Leadership of all-round growth of the vertical, comprising addition of new business, expansion of existing accounts and progressive scaling up of strategic accounts with adjacent and upstream & downstream solutions & services
• Relationship management – with Ministries, Departments, PSUs, Clients, Consultants and other key stakeholders and influencers

Experience Required:

• About 20 years’ total experience, including significant recent P&L-owning experience in Govt & Public Sector Vertical / BU, in India / Emerging Markets
• Should currently be leading a Govt and Public Sector portfolio, worth annual revenues of > $50 million,
• Current or recent experience of leading large Govt / PSU programs in a fixed price turnkey model, with 1 or more programs with TCV (Total Contract Value) of > $ 30 million
• Demonstrable business acumen, with strong experience and deep expertise in steering Govt & PSU engagements across the entire life cycle
• Proven ability to build a strong network with key relationships with key stakeholders in Ministries / Departments / PSUs
