Who we are looking for: Business Unit Manager?
The person passionate about technical solutions to coordinate and support and develop the industrial paints business together with the sales team. With responsibilities both in the development of specific products with the team, dedicated to the industrial sector, including the responsibility of optimizing customer service, retention and development of the relationship with them and in the acquisition of new customers.
Throughout his career, this person has shown a real passion for business development, developing the relationship with customers, along with outstanding results in providing technical solutions for closing sales and team management nationwide.
The role
- The new colleague will lead and coordinate the activity of a Business Unit. Participates in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, analyzes and prepares reports specific to the sales activities of the division to improve the performance indicators of the team, but also the individual for each member.
- He will be responsible for generating new ideas and sources of revenue through suppliers and products to increase the coordinated business unit.
Education
- University studies in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering - compulsory
The experience - Solid experience in the paint industry
3-5 years’ experience in sales management in industries such as: production of paints, varnishes, primers or in research and development laboratories in the same industry - Successful experience in building high-performing teams of sales professionals
- Marketing experience with the local paint industry
- Strong technical knowledge of raw materials and ingredients, as well as trends and needs of products in the local market of companies in the varnish and paint industry
Key activities and responsibilities:
- Create and execute national sales strategy, promote corporate goals and increase revenue
- Provide strong leadership for the national sales function, set a clear and unified direction for the team
- Expand your sales team: manage, expand, and grow into a high-performing organization
- Achieves revenue, profit, organizational and strategic goals and objectives
- Improve your sales channel system: reporting, forecasting, performance: from lead generation to closing
- Establish and maintain top-level contact with your organization's important customers
- Develop annual sales business plans to generate revenue and increase market penetration
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
- Travel as needed to visit the sales team, major accounts, attend trade fairs and key events
