The Role

The person, who will be part of the Planning & Procurement Team and will report hierarchically to the Procurement Supervisor, be responsible for:

• Research new suppliers and entertain relationships with established suppliers;
• Conduct periodic Supplier business reviews, evaluating Supplier performance and compliance;
• Study market trends and maintain the database of Vendor Information and keep entailing documents constantly updated and orderly;
• Support the Planning & Procurement Manager in determining the desired spending goals for the assigned Suppliers, according to the company policies and guidelines;
• Meet regularly with R&D, Logistics, Planners and Suppliers to co-ordinate the  activities.

Personal Attributes

• Graduate degree or Diploma;
• Previous experience in the role (of about 5 years);
• Preferably experience in the chemical-plastics sector or in production contexts;
• Good knowledge of the English language;
• Willingness to travel within the national territory;
• Curiosity, Intrapreneurship, strong commercial aptitude and critical thinking.
