Our client is seeking a knowledgeable CFP to join their team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive financial planning services to clients, ensuring their financial goals align with Islamic principles. If you hold the CFP designation, have Regulatory Examinations (RE) qualifications, and possess knowledge of Short-Term Insurance and Medical Aid, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client consultations to understand financial goals and needs.
• Analyse clients' financial situations and provide comprehensive financial planning services.
• Recommend suitable solutions, based on clients' specific requirements.
• Where required, integrate insurance needs with other aspects of financial planning, such as investment planning, retirement planning (including RAs), tax planning, estate planning, and medical aid.
• Assess clients' risk exposure and provide recommendations for managing risk through appropriate products.
• Educate clients about the principles and benefits of Islamic products in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff
• Ensure compliance with and stay updated with the latest developments, trends, and regulations related to the scope of work.

Requirements:

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation awarded by the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI).
• Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree would be advantageous.
• Regulatory Examinations (RE) qualifications in insurance or relevant financial regulatory certifications.
• Solid experience in providing financial planning services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial and insurance products and industry regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in assessing clients' financial needs and developing suitable strategies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain complex financial concepts and insurance options to clients.
• Ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive client information.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial plans and insurance recommendations.
• Proficiency in relevant financial planning software and tools.
• Knowledge of short-term insurance and medical aids is preferable.
• Be able to mentor and train junior staff
