Our client, a leading Investment group, is recruiting for Head of Finance / CFO for one of their biggest Business District (Real Estate) based in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:
Managerial Responsibilities:
1. Manage all department staff in performing their delegated tasks
2. Ensure that all department staff acquires required skillsets, knowledge and certifications through appropriate training and professional development programs (in coordination with the Human Resources and Administration Division).
3. Periodically appraise the staff. Coach and counsel them as required. Encourage good communication among all levels of staff.
Prepare periodic performance reports for the department.
Organizational Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the division’s policies are developed and periodically reviewed, procedures for various functions are documented and implementation of these policies and procedures is monitored.
2. Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, audit, regulatory, risk management and safety requirements and procedures.
3. Ensure maintenance of all fixed assets.
Functional Responsibilities:
1. Develop, manage and implement financial and treasury policies and procedures.
2. Implement budgetary process by establishing detailed budget schedules.
3. Achieve budget objectives by analysing actual v/s budgets for the Company.
4. Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure that audits and reviews are carried out effectively and all audit / review comments are discussed and appropriately closed on timely manners.
5. Perform evaluation of “BUSINESS DISTRICT” pricing list as per Market standards.
6. Undertake effective management of cash flow and negotiating credit facilities.
7. Undertake full ownership of rating exercise & discuss rating outcome.
8. Monitor & oversee the revenue of subleasing & transfer process.
9. Review on monthly basis MIS of “BUSINESS DISTRICT” –financial results, position and cash flows and report to the Board.
10.Report periodically “BUSINESS DISTRICT” Financials to the stock Market as mandated by regulatory
11.Submit an authorization certificate to the stock Market ensuring the accuracy of Capital bonds & efficiency of “BUSINESS DISTRICT” Financials
12.Permanent invitee in the Board of Directors
13.Prepare BOD agenda & documentation.
14.Ensure accuracy of the PMS.
Job Requirements:
Academic Qualifications:
- • Bachelor Degree in Accounts, Finance
- • Relevant professional qualification in finance (CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA) is preferred
Professional Experience:
- • At least ten (10) years of finance experience with at least five (5) years in a managerial role. Experience in relevant field is a must.
- • Experience in Capital Market & rating process.
Other Skills / Requirements:
- • Excellent command over written and spoken English;
- • A professional accounting qualification i.e. CPA or equivalent, with good knowledge of international accounting and financial reporting standards with sound technical knowledge.
- • Master in Finance/ Accounting preferred

- • Reporting to “BUSINESS DISTRICT” General Manager
