My client is looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join their award winning firm for this full time permanent role based in London. This role is paying up to £60,000 per Annam. Other benefits of this role include group personal pension scheme, private health care insurance and profit share.

Requirements:

-Minimum of 5 years experience

-Project management experience

-Preparation of proposal sketches & calculations (in relation to building materials)

-Use of design software including TEDDS

-Undertaking structural surveys, investigations and reports

-Compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations

Qualifications & skills including:

-Membership of the institution of structural engineers

-Knowledge of Eurocodes, codes of practice, design standards, building regulations and health & safety regulations

-Working knowledge of Autocad and other drawing packages as well as computer design software for structural analysis

Additional desirable:

-Understanding of construction laws

-Experience in London structures

-Experience in basement design

-Experience in historical buildings

-Experience of BIM implementation

-Experience with Tekla
