Key responsibilities of a Chief Accountant

• Manage all activities of the accounting department
• Supervise settlements
• Make financial statements
• Ensure legitimacy in accounts
• Analyze and forecast finance
• Coordinate external audit procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to company’s policies and procedures and coordination in audit procedures
• Produces accounting reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics
• Processes and controls invoices, bank statements and salaries in 1C  system
• Cooperates with tax authorities in case of tax reviews
• Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
• Conduct all necessary training to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date
• See that tax interviews are conducted properly with clients
• Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
• Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy
• Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
• Oversee the processing of state and federal payroll taxes
• Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
• Uphold the excellent reputation of the company
• Provide company inventory
• Maintain constant communication with state agencies and our clients
