Our client international pharmaceutical company is looking for Chief Accountant in Almaty.

Responsibilities:

• Assure correct day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting of the Representative Office;
• Organizes activity in the department, controls the displays of the accounts of all business operations of the Representative Office;
• Requires from staff of all Representative Office departments to ensure strict compliance with the order execution and submission of accounting source documents;
• Payroll;
• Overall responsibility for financial and statutory reporting, accounting and administration;
• Active participation in closing of monthly financial results Key Performance Indicators reporting with cooperation with other departments
• Support for General Manager regarding finance planning and decision making;
• Develop and implement Finance/Accounting procedures and internal controls.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant higher education in Economics with a strong focus on Accounting / Finance;
• Work experience 5 years, preferably in international pharmaceuticals companies;
• Knowledge of IFRS;
• English language skills, intermediate as minimum;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and SAP;
• Good analytical skills, proactive, detail, result and learn oriented, systematic thinking.
