About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance professional with 15+ years of experience in planning and evaluating organisation’s fiscal functions and performance.
This role requires a strong leader who can lead financial planning, governance, and risk management. The role will partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
- Build and execute the company’s IPO roadmap covering compliance, corporate governance, and capital-market positioning.
- Manage all capital market activities including valuation strategies, equity structuring, pre-IPO fundraising, and relationship-building with institutional investors.
- Build and lead the Investor Relations (IR) function post-listing to maintain strong market credibility and consistent communication with analysts and shareholders.
- Oversee hedging strategies and financial risk frameworks aligned with best practices for a listed petrochemical company. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with the company’s petrochemical manufacturing and trading operations.
- Fund Raising & dealing with Banks for managing working capital limits.
- Ensure Factory Compliances, Secretarial Compliances, Risk Committee (Internal Audits), Financial Compliances such as Audit of Accounts, GST
- Returns, Income Tax Returns, TDS Returns, Statutory Compliances, Advance Tax / Income Tax, Timely completion of the Audits.
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
- Ensure that the company complies with all financial legal and regulatory requirements.
- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
- Must have thorough and end to end working knowledge of IndAS (Indian Accounting Standards)
- Managing finance personnel and oversee financial and IT enabled Systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory authorities.
- Supervision of Direct & Indirect Taxes, Tax litigations.
- Must have ability to track USGAP / IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Managing Board Meetings & Relationships, Annual General Meeting etc. and maintaining partner relationships.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Knowledge - Qualified CA. Additional degrees in Law preferred
Experience- 15+ years of experience in managing large size manufacturing organizations Finance and Accounts and serviced a complex and diverse range of stakeholder needs simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
