This role involves oversight of technical projects and direct engineering responsibilities at multiple landfill sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering activities and construction management at solid waste disposal facilities located in King George, VA, and Saluda, VA.
• Engage with senior management to report progress and coordinate on strategic initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Deliver comprehensive engineering services to a diverse client base.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years related engineering experience, particularly in landfill design, permitting, and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including to remote locations.
• Deep understanding of environmental regulations related to solid waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, accounting processes, and profit & loss statements.

Position Type:
