Role details:

• Title/Role: Client Delivery Manager
• Role position: Senior Project Manager or Associate Director
• Reporting Manager: VP - Engineering 
• Location: Chennai

Role and responsbilities:

• Leading a delivery portfolio of up to $3 million 
• P&L owner
• Steer programs and projects with the help of 6-7 direct reports (Project Managers & Architect) and extended team of 70+
• Be the front face of delivery with clients establing the requisite reporting, review and goverance mechanisms, leading to high customer satisfaction ratings
• Measure and monitor progress of projects and features to ensure on time delivery
• Manage and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Develop project plans and work with various managers to plan and secure resources for every feature or project.
• Co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment scripts and checklists.
• Conduct Release Readiness and Go reviews
• Create status reports of the project to the senior officials of the organization Communicate project issues and to stakeholders

Candidate requirements:

• Overall 12 - 15 years of experience including recent experience aligned to the responsibilities mentioned above
• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams and to be able to evaluate complex project risks and issues
• Experience accurately and objectively with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
• Solid skills at managing project scope creep and change management
• Comfortable in leading and facilitating large meetings
• Strong analytical abilities in order to analyze the effectiveness of software releases process and make or suggest improvements
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage interruptions Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Immediate or fast ( NP of 30 or less) joiners highly preferable

• Nice to have:

  • PMP / Scrum Master certifications

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Good understanding of version control systems (SVN, Git), including branching and merging strategies

  • Familiar with deployments to Azure/ Amazon Web Services
