Job Summary
The Client Relationship Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, managing existing client relationships, and promoting the company’s credit rating or financial services. The role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build long-term business partnerships. The candidate should be driven to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients across assigned markets, including clients in the Africa region (exposure will be an advantage).
- Develop a clear understanding of the company’s services (training provided) to effectively communicate their value proposition.
- Conduct professional sales presentations and service demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close deals while ensuring mutual value.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
- Research market trends, prospects, and competitive landscapes to support strategic business planning.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure positive client experience and long-term engagement.
- Continuously update knowledge on company services, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Additional certifications in Sales or Finance are an advantage.
Experience:
Proven experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in financial services, banking, or credit rating sectors.
Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to simplify and explain financial services in a client-friendly manner.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive in approach.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred
Exposure to handling or engaging clients in the Africa region will be highly valued.
