Job Requirements:

• MBBS
• American Board or Canadian Fellowship in Clinical Pathology
• 3+ years of experience after certification
• Arabic speaker
• Dataflow for SCFHS is a MUST
• Valid SCFHS is a plus

Job Description:

• Performing laboratory tests to detect diseases in patients by analyzing blood samples, cultures, biopsies, and other tissue samples
• Communicating test results to physicians in a timely manner
• Recording observations about patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes of treatment over time
• Conducting research to improve diagnostic techniques and therapies for disease treatment
• Ordering additional lab tests or referring patients to other specialists as needed
• Interpreting test results to determine the presence of infection or disease.
• Educating patients about their condition and treatment options
• Preparing specimens—obtaining samples of tissue or body fluids from patients
• Maintaining inventory of supplies such as needles, tubes, gloves, and slides
• Supervise and teach younger staff
