Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Clinical Sales Manager to lead the clinical commercial efforts for robotic-assisted surgery systems in the South & East region. This role is critical in expanding the clinical adoption of robotic platforms across multiple surgical specialties. You will oversee a team of Clinical Sales Specialists and Key Account Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration between commercial strategy and clinical training pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the clinical sales strategy in alignment with the Commercial Manager to meet business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and coordinate the activities of the Clinical Sales Specialists and Key Account Managers within the assigned territory.
- Manage and oversee the clinical training pathway for healthcare professionals in current installations, including the Da Vinci technology onboarding process.
- Support clinical education initiatives and ensure continuous medical training for surgeons and OR teams.
- Expand system usage within existing accounts by engaging and training new surgeons across all applicable specialties.
- Lead the full cycle of new system installations, including pre-installation clinical planning and support.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for new system placements and upgrades in target hospitals.
- Deliver updated information to the clinical sales team regarding new products, features, or system capabilities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with hospital management and other key stakeholders.
- Attend Intuitive DCAST (Da Vinci Clinical Assessment and Sales Training) and obtain certification necessary to perform clinical support and sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in clinical sales, surgical technologies, or medical devices (preferably in robotic-assisted surgery).
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to engage credibly with surgeons and medical professionals.
- Demonstrated success in leading and coordinating sales or clinical teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, training, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical, or related fields; advanced education or clinical background is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
