Role details:
- Title / Role: Cloud Sales Director / Senior Director
- Reporting to: Head of Cloud Sales (VP)
- Role type: Individual contributor to start with; to lead a team later
- Location: Anywhere in India
Role & responsibilities:
- Generate and / or fulfil Cloud Sales opportunities, spanning the full suite of cloud products, including Applications, Infrastructure, Integration, Security, Digital Marketing and more, steering the pitch to prospects and clients, working closely with client account teams, deal and bid teams, as well as with cloud solutions providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients, working closely with account teams that focus on AWS and other cloud solutions
- Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders – including senior leadership team – to formalize business plans and to interact on progress thereon
- Sustain C-suite connections with clients and prospects
- Create and position compelling value articulation, to influence clients’ selection process and evaluation criteria
- Ensure successful transition of opportunities to the delivery teams
- Engage with clients to get their agreement for press releases, use of references, etc.
- Establish opportunity and deal qualification strategy, heat map and selection criteria
- Lead sales team
Candidate requirements:
- 5 + years of experience in Cloud Solutions and Sales leadership, including in AWS, along all the dimensions relevant to the role
- About 15 years of overall experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
