Role details:
- Title / Designation: Cloud Solutions Principal (Associate Director / Director)
- Reporting to: Head – Digital & AI Practice
- Location: NY / NJ / Dallas / San Jose
Role & responsibilities:
- Research, ideate, socialize and craft a comprehensive suite of cloud solutions (application development, migration and transformation, across AWS, MS Azure and GCP), via interactions with clients, practice, and presales teams, sales frontline, account teams & other listening posts, encompassing multiples domains
- Consult with clients, landscape their current applications suite and underlying infrastructure and advise them on their cloud journey road-map, covering a spectrum of options comprising cloud-native development, application and data migration, service transformation, hybrid operations and plain vanilla lift-and-shift
- Continually revisit the solutions catalog for fine-tuning and updates, establishing an Innovation framework, which is repeatable and implementable, including for existing client engagements.
- Steer the GTM (go-to-market) of the solutions catalog, via campaigns, marketing pitches to clients, prospects and suspects to enable a steady pipeline of opportunities, resulting in steady increase in TCV (total contract value) across practice clients
- Act as an “ideapreneur”, to keep conceiving and incubating disrupting and innovative ideas for solutions and solutions accelerators and pitch them to the practice teams for building demo solutions
- Be updated on Cloud market trends and also feed into them, through collaterals like POVs (Points of View), White Papers, techno-blogs, seminars / webinars and such other markers of industry presence
- Engage with and farm accounts with technology leadership, with focused account specific initiatives, including presenting to C-level connects at clients
- Steer / lead large & strategic deals, tailored to domain, function and other vertical-specific and client-specific contexts
Candidate requirements:
- 15-20 years of total experience with the recent 10+ in Cloud solutions-scape
- Wide-ranging experience and expertise in building business case / RoI-driven solution architectures / reference frameworks across multiple technologies comprising Cloud, Full Stack, Agile, DevOps, Integration, Mobile, Digital, and the requisite non-functional requirements and Infrastructure
- Consulting acumen, with demonstrated communication and articulation skills to an entire ecosystem of client and internal stakeholders (decision-makers, influencers, recommenders and SMEs
- Experience driving transformation projects / programs around Cloud adoption in any of the hyperscalers (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Sales and / or technical certification in AWS / GCP / Azure (preferable)
- Goal-orientation, progressive growth zeal and top-notch verbal and written business content-creation, communication and presentation skills business
- Excellent coordination and collaboration skills, working with internal and external stakeholders, across various horizontal, vertical and other teams
- Team-play orientation
