For a luxury Resort in Sardinia (near Cagliari) we are looking for a
Cluster Reservations Manager
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the candidate will be responsible for organizing, overseeing, and performing all reservations activities for 3 different properties part of the same resort.
The resort has just undergone a massive refurbishment (started in winter 2020), after which two properties have been rebranded and are now part of a well-known international branded hotel group.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Maximize room nights, ADR, and rooms revenue
- Manage and oversee the reservation team, as well as both direct and indirect individual reservations
- Maintain the in-house reservation systems in order
- Participate and assists in the creation of special promotional programs, and utilizes online platforms to market current specials to the general public
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives for the position
- Coach, train, and guide the team in the performance of their duties as to specific position responsibilities, sales and negotiations techniques, reporting procedures, etc
- Be an inspiring frontrunner, leading by example, guiding and assisting assigned team in all circumstances
- Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Liaising with Revenue Department for new SRPs, promotions, and business opportunities
- Monitor, identify, and report current and future business trends to ensure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand
- Monitor competitive hotels to ensure continual market share improvement
- Ensure that reservations are fulfilled in a timely manner while meeting all deadlines
- Assist clients with special requests or problems with reservations or accommodations
- Ensure the accuracy of information in company databases related to client data, reservations, payments, and other records
- Work closely with S&M, as well as operation teams, to develop new products or services to meet customer needs
- Contribute ideas to improve products and services offered
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 year’s previous experience in a reservation role or longer in an assistant/supervisor role, in a 4/5 star hotel
- Preferable experience with an international group, in a resort location
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a diverse team
- High level customer service ambassador
- Confident use of PMS
- Fluent in English and Italian both verbal and written
- Must be a EU Citizen or in possession of an Italian work visa
