What you’ll do:
The Commercial IT & Digital Solution Delivery Lead is a digital role responsible for driving the digital transformation agenda within the Oncology and Rare Disease therapy areas in Saudi Arabia. The role serves as a strategic digital partner to business stakeholders, translating healthcare and commercial priorities into impactful digital solutions that enhance patient and business outcomes. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the digital roadmap, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, and ensuring seamless alignment between global, regional, and local strategies. The position also champions innovation, leveraging technologies such as AI, machine learning, VR/AR, telehealth, and wearables to accelerate transformation and optimize processes. The Digital Lead manages vendors and stakeholders, ensures compliance with governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards, and promotes a culture of digital excellence and adoption across teams.
Strategy & Roadmap:
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders in the respective Therapy Areas (TAs) to translate business needs into digital solutions that generate measurable business outcomes.
• Define and execute the digital roadmap, aligning new digital capabilities with business priorities, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with global, international, and area Digital/IT teams to shape local demand and assess proposed solutions in alignment with strategic direction, policies, and standards.
Program & Project Leadership:
• Lead end-to-end project management, including planning, analysis, development (with vendors and/or Digital/IT teams), testing, piloting, deployment, and go-live.
• Monitor digital solution utilization, identify issues, and guide business leads to maximize adoption and value realization.
• Facilitate digital progress review meetings, providing visibility, alignment, and mitigation plans for risks or issues.
Global & Local Alignment:
• Lead the local deployment of global or regional digital projects within the TA, ensuring solutions are tailored to local requirements, workflows, and business objectives.
• Drive the alignment and integration of new digital platforms cascading from global or international teams.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
• Foster a culture of innovation by exploring emerging technologies (AI/ML, VR/AR/XR, telehealth, wearables, low code/no-code platforms) and recommending pilots or enhancements to existing solutions.
• Challenge the status quo, propose alternative solutions, and actively contribute to process optimization and knowledge sharing across TAs and geographies.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors; partner with internal stakeholders (legal, procurement) to manage contracting processes (e.g., SoWs).
• Serve as a digital thought leader within the TA, influencing adoption, change management, and culture across business functions.
Governance & Compliance:
• Ensure all TA digital initiatives comply with organizational digital governance, local regulations, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
• Utilize data and analytics to track performance, demonstrate impact, and inform decision-making

Essential Capabilities:
Digital & Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of digital health, digital marketing, omnichannel engagement, and patient-centric solutions.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies: SFMC, CRM, AI/ML, VR/AR/XR, telehealth platforms, wearables, and low-code/no code development platforms.
• Experience with vendor management, budgeting, design thinking, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and digital product management.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
• Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders across business, medical, commercial, and IT functions, as well as external partners and vendors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable digital solutions and track performance via KPIs and dashboards.
Regulatory & Global Experience:
• Knowledge of local and regional healthcare regulations, data privacy, and cybersecurity requirements is highly desirable.
• Multicultural and multinational experience preferred; fluency in English required, Arabic an advantage.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications to go through initial screening:
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Digital Health, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline:
• Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable.
• 7–10 years of experience in digital transformation or digital technology roles, preferably as a Digital Partner within the pharma or life sciences industry.
• Proven experience developing and executing digital roadmaps, aligning technology initiatives with business strategy, and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Prior experience in cross-industrial digital projects (commercial digital, IT, omnichannel/digital health) is advantageous.
