Commercial Territory Representative - Switzerland

Role Summary
As a Commercial Territory Representative, you will be responsible for proactively servicing end customers and reselling partners from within the company office in Zurich or the Netherlands. The target clients are mid-sized companies.
This role requires fluent German (ideally Swiss German) and English to cover the Swiss German region.
Key Responsibilities
- Positioning of the company solution and product portfolio with all relevant contacts within and outside IT using value selling approaches.
- Works directly over the phone with customers and partners to drive preference to the company and capture sales.
- The first point of contact within the sales organization for existing and new customers when calling with product questions.
- Finds opportunities to expand within existing, but also with new accounts (cold calling)
- Identifies customer needs and supports the partner to quote, products, service upgrades, and renewal options.
- Installed base and contact data maintenance in the CRM system.
- Identifies technical education needs.
- Identifies partner capability gaps and coordinates with channel organization to address these.
- Territory planning (in coordination with the channel team) with key partners.
- Prepares and submits forecast reports.
Requirements
You have successfully worked for at least 4 years in a business development role, having established a track record in internal sales within the Swiss tech industry ecosystem.
You will have worked in a technical environment, ideally in the IT industry.
You enjoy independent and proactive sales, are persistent and have a high willingness to learn and perform.
You understand how to adapt quickly to promoting and selling new products and services and position them successfully on the market.
Empathy, initiative, agility and reliability are among your strengths, as are strong communication skills, a convincing personality and you enjoy working in a team.
You are fluent in French, English and German fluently (C1 minimum).
MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)You already reside in one of the office locations and have the right to work in the respective country.
