Our Client is a leading FMCG Company with more than 90 years of history.

For their growing operations, they are looking for a 'Commissioning Project Engineer', based in one of their factories in Thesalia.

The role plays a crucial role in overseeing the commissioning process for new production lines, upgrades to existing lines, and transformation projects. The Project Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and industry standards.

Your Resposnibilities: 

• Project Planning and Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.

Develop commissioning plans and schedules for new installations, upgrades, and transformation projects.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.

• Installation Oversight:

Supervise the installation of new production lines and the upgrade of existing lines.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Collaborate with construction teams to address any issues that may arise during the installation phase.

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

Develop and execute commissioning test plans for equipment and systems.

Conduct functional tests to verify the proper operation of machinery and control systems.

Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the commissioning process.

Ensure that all commissioning activities adhere to quality assurance standards.

• Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, issues, and resolutions.

Generate commissioning reports to provide regular updates on project status.

Create as-built documentation reflecting the final configuration of installed systems.

• Training and Handover:

Provide training to operational staff on the use and maintenance of new equipment.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure a smooth transition from commissioning to full production.

• Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement in commissioning procedures.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance commissioning practices.

Your Profile: 

• Strong academic background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the FMCG/Food Manufacturing/Pharma industries.
• Experienced in working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English skills.
