Our client is a fast growing pharmaceutical company looking for a compliance manager. The role is to ensure that the business, its employees, and its projects comply with all relevant regulations/legislation and specifications, the duties may include conducting routine office inspections and collecting evidence to prove compliance. This could include health and safety, environmental, legal, or quality standards, as well as any ethical policies the company may have.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Draft, modify, develop and implement company policies and regulations.
- Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, reports, investments, processes, and procedures.
- Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
- Regularly assess/evaluate the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements and corrective actions to improve them continuously.
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports periodically or whenever needed to identify hidden risks or common/ non-conformity issues.
- Coordinate with different department managers/heads to review all departmental compliance policies/procedures/processes.
- Perform periodic audits on compliance to companies procedures and processes.
- Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues in addition to supervising the compliance team.
- Prepare reports for senior/top management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
- Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
- Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant/related subject, such as Finance, Law, Health, and Safety or Business Administration.
- Master of Business Administration is a Must.
- Certified Compliance Professional or Professional Qualifications/Certificates offered by the International Compliance Association (ICA) which specializes in Law, Compliance, Governance, and Risk is a plus.
Experience
- 10 + Years of comprehensive related job function/industry/experience in addition to at least 2 years in a Managerial position, with total experience starting from 12 years.
- Proven experience in developing compliance strategies, reporting procedures, and record-keeping in addition to having a business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
