For our trusted client – a well-established company operating in the field of investment construction and project management, specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of high-quality industrial, commercial, and residential projects – we are currently seeking an experienced professional for the role of Construction Investment Manager.
The company delivers projects within the industrial and infrastructure construction sector, including logistics facilities, warehouses, public parking structures, and other developments, working closely with external contractors and subcontractors.
In this role, you will act as a key representative of the investor, responsible for the end-to-end management of projects – from initial planning through to successful completion – ensuring delivery in line with agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards. The role requires ownership of project coordination and execution, as well as decision-making within the assigned authority.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage construction investment projects on behalf of the investor
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
- Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain active communication with designers, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders
- Review and interpret project documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.)
- Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and project resources
- Participate in contractor selection, tendering, and negotiation processes
- Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure quality of execution
- Monitor and coordinate construction supervision activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and support the management of engineering and technical teams involved in the projects
- Ensure compliance with construction legislation and health & safety requirements
- Identify risks and proactively manage deviations and challenges
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates for stakeholders
Requirements:
- University degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction or investment project management
- Advantage: experience on the investor or consultancy side
- Strong understanding of construction processes and subcontractor management
- Good knowledge of local construction legislation and regulatory framework
- Experience working with project and construction documentation
- Proven experience in budget and timeline management
- Good computer literacy (MS Office; experience with specialized software is an advantage)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Driving licence – B category
