Our client is a well-established international infrastructure contractor delivering major government-backed civil projects in West Africa. The company has secured long-term infrastructure works and continues to expand its regional presence.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join the on-site engineering team for a large-scale infrastructure project in Ghana.

This is a contractor-side execution role responsible for supervising plumbing and utility installation works and ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedule, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
• Oversee firefighting piping networks and utility infrastructure
• Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel
• Review technical drawings and method statements
• Monitor quality control and installation progress
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and HSE standards
• Work within a FIDIC contractual framework
• Liaise with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams
• Prepare site reports and resolve technical issues

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Strong site-based experience in plumbing works on infrastructure, industrial, or large construction projects
• Experience managing subcontractors and execution teams
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary site coordination
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to relocate and work in a site-based international environment
