Job Description-
- Provide expert commercial guidance to sales managers throughout negotiation processes to drive favourable outcomes.
- Guide project negotiations by securing optimal payment terms, performing scenario analysis, calculating ROI for equipment, and preparing Operational Risk Management approval documentation.
- Oversee and ensure the commercial clearance of projects following order release, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Draft, develop, and manage key agreements—including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Agency Agreements, and framework contracts—in close collaboration with Legal Services or external legal counsel.
- Ensure strict adherence to Operational Risk Management protocols, compliance standards, and all relevant internal and external regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for contract management and administration.
- Assist the sales team during the Sales/Quotations phase by evaluating customer creditworthiness, readiness, and identifying any financing requirements.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer business models and collaborate with sales to prepare comprehensive project summaries for presentation to potential financiers and Export Credit Agencies.
- Build and nurture a network of local and international banking relationships in close coordination with Financial Services Advisory.
- Lead commercial training sessions and provide ongoing refreshers for sales and finance teams within the region.
- Identify and implement strategies to strengthen the regional commercial organization, enhancing both structure and skill development.
Minimum Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal software tools, including SAP (preferred), Quotation systems, CRM, and CS Web.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial contract negotiation.
- 5 years of experience in a commercial finance role within the Infrastructure/Engineering/Construction industry is preferred.
- Fluent in English and French, with strong communication skills in both languages.
