We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer/ COO based in UAE, USA or Europe & ready to move to India, for a leading contract research, development, and manufacturing organization (CRO/CDMO) in India, You will be the company’s second-in-command person and responsible for the business efficiency.

The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) which will make you the one accountable for maintaining control of diverse business operations, and secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being the COO makes you responsible for P&L Management, including preparing, projecting and delivery of short & long term P&L plan for the CRO/CDMO, and expanding the business portfolio.
• As a COO, you'll be working closely with business stakeholders including sales, marketing, business development, HR & compliance.
• You'll be designing & implementing business strategies, plans and procedures and also setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
• As a COO, you'll be accountable for Identifying & mitigating possible risks and support the company's strategy with technical input to keep team/facility ready for any upcoming development projects.
• Being the company's second-in-command will make you the one working closely with HR to implement strategic initiatives to create performance and customer centric work culture in the organisation. 

Key Requirements:

1. PhD in Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering, Life Science or any relevant field.
2. +15 years of total experience (5 to 8 years in leadership position).
3. Hands-on experience in handling IND enabling studies.
4. Familiarity with R&D, cGMP & ICH guidelines.
5. Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
6. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
7. Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
8. Analytical, problem solving mindset
