Role Summary

The Deputy Group Cost Controller will support the CFO in driving cost efficiency, financial control, and profitability across multi-plant operations. The role includes overseeing cost accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, compliance, and inventory valuation. The incumbent will lead cost control initiatives, support strategic decisions, and ensure financial integrity in a listed automotive manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost control and financial planning across multiple plants.
• Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards, SEBI norms, and audit requirements.
• Oversee standard costing, pricing strategies, and inventory valuation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost and working capital.
• Provide cost insights to management and lead continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• ICWA/CMA with 15+ years in cost control in an automotive manufacturing company.
• Expertise in cost accounting, standard costing, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, ERP (SAP preferred), and analytical skills.
