This position is focused on commercial execution like delivering topline and managing commercial local resource implementation.
This role will lead the local PNH and aHUS. Responsible for Sales and Marketing, maximizing the impact of F2F and virtual engagement, and this person will be accountable for achieving revenue goals. This person will accomplish goals and objectives by leading the PNH and aHUS Complement sales team, directing all aspects of commercial activities.
The position is also responsible for participating in the global and regional strategic planning process in collaboration with the PNH and aHUS Complement Commercial Leads Intl and Head of Commercial in the country.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for commercial goals including patient identification and patients on therapy targets and revenue goals
- In line with the overarching brand strategy – creating and maintaining a business plan with key accounts that will ensure the implementation and growth of the brand through environmental analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management
- Develop and lead multi-stakeholder relationships within key accounts across multiple geographies through a key account management model and lead key account managers
- Maintain an understanding of the local stakeholder network
- Directs all aspects of commercial activities, building and developing effective teams, and ensuring cross-function alignment
- Collaborate with other International PNH and aHUS Complement Leads, Head of Commercial, and other roles on global/ regional market strategy to achieve revenue and commercial goals
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan within the country
- Manage and regularly report business outcomes to local, International, and Global leaders
- Build and manage effective teams
- Responsible for managing department budget
- Ensure coordination with other country functions, sharing lessons learned and best practices across therapies/ indications
- Engage with HCPs and institutions to optimize disease diagnosis and patient access
- Lead the development of patient identification programs and initiatives
- Identifies, leads, and delivers projects to support brand adoption
- Supports the International Commercial Lead to execute the brand strategy
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the biopharma industry
- Prior experience leading sales teams, marketing, and other multiple teams in cross-functional environments
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated launch experience
- Key account negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business and/or scientific field is required
- Master’s degree in business administration preferred
- Fluent in local market language and English, written and oral
