This is a fantastic opportunity for an Country Industrial Sales Manager that will focus on Biomass, Waste to Energy, Steel, Primary Metals Manufacturing and Recycling. Your role will be to provide both new and existing customers with engineering advice and technical solutions along with feedback to the engineering department on new product development initiatives. Your knowledge of all areas of the various plants, competitors, engineering design concepts, sales processes and business development activities will allow you to support customers in several areas of industry to develop engineered solutions. Your consultative, solution lead style alongside your ability to prioritise and organise will allow you to lead the sales in Germany.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Review - work with new and potential customers to help develop and assess their needs in order to help the team design a winning solution.
- New Customer Development – Prospect new customers and introduce them to the company and its products.
- Build Relationships with new and existing Clients - attend meetings with customers and support firms to create a good rapport with them to fully understand their requirements and provide accurate solutions, as well as to provide them with progress updates along the way.
- Pipeline Management – Fill and manage projects through the opportunity pipeline in order to achieve / exceed established budgets.
- Budgeting –Responsible to help develop sales targets and provide regular forecasts
- Industry Representation – Represent the company and industry meetings, trade shows and other functions, committees, etc. as needed.
- Marketing – Help develop content, support to marketing team requests, identify new products needs and help develop regular competitive analysis within the market.
YOUR PROFILE
- 10+ years of Sales experience to a relevant industry: Biomass, Waste to Energy, Pulp & Paper, Steel or to Foundries
- Mechanical Engineering or similar preferred
- CAD Capabilities are not required, but a plus. Must be able to read engineered drawings
- Germany wide travel approximately 40-60%, as expected in a sales focussed role
- Fluent German, advanced English
