Country Manager– Saudi Arabia | Pharma Formulations & API Business (Indian Nationality Preferred)
Business Unit: Formulation Division
Reporting To: Associate Vice President – ROW
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Candidate must be locally based in the respective country (Indian Origin preferred)

Role Overview
The Country Manager will be responsible for establishing and scaling the formulations business in assigned markets. This is a strategic, P&L-oriented role focused on business development, partnerships, licensing, and long-term market creation, including future tech transfer and local manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive P&L management for the assigned country
- Build the business from scratch in Saudi Arabia; scale existing partnerships
- Lead B2B business development, including customer acquisition and account management
- Execute out-licensing (primary focus) and in-licensing strategies
- Identify and conclude strategic partnerships with distributors, manufacturers, and local players
- Lead tech transfer initiatives and support future local manufacturing setup
- Manage product registrations by coordinating with internal teams, regulators, and external partners
- Plan and execute new product launches and portfolio/basket expansion
- Develop and implement country-specific strategic business plans
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 15+ years in pharmaceutical business management
- Age Preference: 40 years and above
- Education: Graduate
- Industry Exposure: Pharma (Oncology preferred; non-oncology profiles may also be considered)
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen
- Proven B2B business management experience
- Expertise in out-licensing / in-licensing deals
- Strategic planning and execution capability
- Experience in tech transfer and local manufacturing projects
- Knowledge of regulatory processes and market access
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
