The Country/Plant Manager has overall responsibility of the small local manufacturing site and sales team, which includes budgeting, capacity, investment and KPI planning.

He/she should identify and make proposals to regional management with respect to development of the business in Hungary and in the region. He/she is responsible for all topics concerning the country activities

Main Tasks

1. Responsible for providing overall strategic leadership for the whole organization including the daily overall management of local production and sales;
2. Drive operational excellence towards all operational functions in the plants within his area;
3. Monitor effective use of investments including continuous budget monitoring, performance analysis, and expenditure tracking;
4. Ensures a professional customer relationship management/support and continuous optimization of the entire supply chain;
5. Pursue a proactive partnership approach to working with existing and new clients monitoring the objectives geared to targeted increases in sales;
6. Active implementation and performance in compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards;
7. Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures;
8. Responsible to act according to legal requirements as well as implement all requests from external audits and certifications.

Requirements:

1. Relevant degree (commercial/technical education on university level or similar);
2. Management/leadership experience in the field of an international manufacturing company;
3. Operations and sales management experience;
4. Plastic technology experience is a plus;
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills;
6. Strong interpersonal skills and leadership competence including change management experience;
7. Problem solving skills and high grade of flexibility and stress resistance;
8. Fluent English;
