Role & responsibilities:
- As the leader of the sales organisation in Japan, drive consistent and sustainable, signings and revenue growth for the Japan Market (EE, EN,NN), working closely with Service Line Leaders and Industry Leaders to collaborate on market pursuits and practice building initiatives.
- Work as a growth agent in a leadership capacity, showcasing strong commercial and P&L acumen while building a lean and agile organization culture characterized by flexibility and a forward-thinking mindset.
- Lead, motivate and upskill the capacity of existing sales and client partner organization to solution sell, cross-sell, and up-sell, delivering win-win outcomes for clients and the organization.
- Maintain a consistent cadence with top customers, and keep an eye on consumer feedback, trends, and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to increase visibility of the organization's skills, boost reputation, and promote the organisational brand across the region's marketplaces.
- Drive a culture of accountability and ownership throughout sales teams by leading from the front.
- Prioritize investments and organizational bandwidth on growth generating (both organic and inorganic) initiatives.
Candidate requirements:
- 20+ years of sales experience, with the recent c.15 years in Japan
- Experience in developing and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities across industry sectors in New Age Technologies (Digital, AI/ Automation, Analytics, Cloud, etc.).
- Experience in amplifying growth in a business environment that is clouded in uncertainty and driven by disruption through an agile, dynamic thinking and multidimensional approach.
- Expertise in traditional sales, marketing, finance, R&D & product teams to drive rapid revenue growth and provide the best possible customer experience.
- Experience in driving net new deals and streamlining the sales engine across the solutions ecosystem for clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
- P&L focus is razor-sharp, with the ability to form deals of all sizes, negotiate and close business and partnership arrangements/opportunities with a diverse set of industry players.

- Deep understanding of business, in-depth knowledge of how the company generates revenue and succeeds in the marketplace.
- Ability to challenge the status-quo, provides leadership to create and implement a longer-term vision and execution of growth-generating strategies. He/ she must also be able to think laterally to go beyond traditional revenue streams by proving a forward-facing vision that is beyond quarterly growth targets.
- Ability to persuade stakeholders and establish a consensus-building strategy. Strong collaborative spirit and the ability to handle problems when working with cross-functional, onsite, and offshore teams. Creates internal and external customer and stakeholder trust through real leadership and behaviours.
