Parkside Recruitment are currently partnering with a rapidly growing logistics company for the appointment of a Credit Control Supervisor.
You will ideally have 3 years experience in a similar position and be eager to progress your career into a fast paced role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a growing team of credit controllers
- Manage daily workloads of the team, including KPI setting
- Cash flow reporting, for real time insights
- Working closely with the sales teams and station contacts regarding issues
- Reporting to the Finance Director regarding debtors and problematic accounts
- Involvement in updating and developing credit control policies and procedures
- Ensuring the team work strictly to policies and best practice
- Identify opportunity to reduce cost of recovery
- Ensure 121's are completed for all team members and ensure regular coaching sessions are delivered
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading a Team
- An outstanding background in delivering debt reduction and meeting and setting KPIs
- Strong Credit Control and Customer Relationship skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding accounting.
- Ability to effectively communicate in an oral and written manner with professionalism while conducting oneself according to policy. Proper grammar, spelling etc. should be reviewed prior to sending written communication.
- Good level of Excel knowledge - V look ups, Pivot tables
