Our client is a dynamic and growing insurance company operating across the European market, committed to providing innovative and robust risk solutions with a strong focus on financial lines.
We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to support the evaluation of corporate clients within our client’s surety portfolio across Europe. This is a key role focused on financial analysis and credit risk assessment, directly supporting underwriting decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform financial and credit risk analysis of corporate clients across various industries
- Assess financial statements, liquidity, profitability, leverage, and overall creditworthiness
- Support underwriting and risk evaluation processes for existing and prospective clients
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
- Prepare analytical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for internal stakeholders
- Conduct market and sector research to support credit decisions
- Collaborate closely with international teams and contribute to cross-border projects
- Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and procedures
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, insurance, banking, audit, or a related analytical role
- Experience working in an international and dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles
- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish would be considered an advantage
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
