Our client is a dynamic and growing insurance company operating across the European market, committed to providing innovative and robust risk solutions with a strong focus on financial lines.

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to support the evaluation of corporate clients within our client’s surety portfolio across Europe. This is a key role focused on financial analysis and credit risk assessment, directly supporting underwriting decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform financial and credit risk analysis of corporate clients across various industries
• Assess financial statements, liquidity, profitability, leverage, and overall creditworthiness
• Support underwriting and risk evaluation processes for existing and prospective clients
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
• Prepare analytical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for internal stakeholders
• Conduct market and sector research to support credit decisions
• Collaborate closely with international teams and contribute to cross-border projects
• Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and procedures

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of previous experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, insurance, banking, audit, or a related analytical role
• Experience working in an international and dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish would be considered an advantage
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
