Responsibilities:
develops marketing strategies (cultures/regions/segments/products), conducts market analysis and monitors competitors in cooperation with technical specialists and for relevant crops;
active contribution to the development of a portfolio on these crops (Crop Strategies) and a strategy for positioning and promoting products (Go-to-Market approach strategy) in cooperation with sales specialists.
participates in the definition of competitive medium-term scenarios, including the assessment of risks and the main prerequisites for development, presenting proposals in the form of business cases - projects for consideration and approval for the respective countries;
develops advertising campaigns and conducts market analysis in cooperation with the regional sales and communications manager;
determines the framework and rules for communication and promotional activities in cooperation with the Technical Manager and the Sales Manager for the respective target groups using the CRM system;
monitors sales, product availability and financial results at the product level, identifies deviations and takes the necessary corrective actions. (contribution to the S&OP process);
defines target consumers (farmers);
actively participates in the development of the portfolio and segmentation of consumers (farmers, etc.);
responsible for promotional materials for the culture/brand and planning marketing activities (providing information, regional coordination and inter-functional coordination at the country level, ensuring the implementation of agreed measures in certain priority regions);
develops the concept and performs the necessary actions to prepare the launch (pre-launch on the market);
develops a portfolio of products, ensures effective positioning of products;
Defines a set of products for these crops.
ensures sustainable medium-term and long-term development of the portfolio life cycles through the management of the LCM process;
promotes cooperation between the technical department and the sales department.
Requirements:
Completed higher education (major in agriculture or related specialties),
Fluency in Russian and English (upper-intermediate/advanced level),
Knowledge of the Kazakh language will be an advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
Relevant experience in applying marketing tools (segmentation, concept formation, promotion…)
Knowledge and application of strategic marketing
Possession of project management skills, building communications and making presentations
Knowledge of agribusiness
